It is held in place by an ultra thin Velcro-like fastener attached to the back of the tag that opens and closes to go around the collar. Please note: the Velcro length is cut for the thickness of a 1ply nylon collar. If your collar is leather or a 2ply collar, let us know and we can make the Velcro longer.
